  • Targeted interventions for reading, spellings eg reading and spelling probe
  • Wordshark group to target reading and spelling for Years 3 and 4
  • Targeted writing conference for Year 6
  • Additional 1:1 reading sessions
  • Reciprocal reading sessions in Year 5
  • Booster morning maths group in Year 6 and 2
  • Focused writing groups in Year 2
  • Homework club – access to ICT facilities
  • ERR – targeted phonics support in Year 1 and 2 – 75% of year 1 pupil premium children passed the screener
  • Smaller maths groups in Key Stage 2 – pupil premium children have a progress measure of 110.5, for the whole cohort it was 102.7
  • Communication group for Year R and Key Stage 1
  • Access to clubs – cookery, breakfast/ after school club
  • Parental workshops led by teachers, organised by family workers eg handwriting, phonics, Brainbuilders
  • Support for social/ emotional well being led by family workers/ PP Champion through social skills groups, 1:1 focused work, support from Young Carers
  • Additional groups in EY- Colourful Semantics, Gross Motor Skills,
  • Funky Fingers, smaller focused phonics and maths groups
  • Language support across the school with the introduction of Colourful Semantics
In addition to the above interventions we also provide:
  • CHUMS to deliver therapeutic music sessions
  • Additional clubs- gardening, cookery, dance, sewing, knitting, Lego therapy
