Tri-Golf

Year 5 and 6 Tri-Golf Tournament - April 2018

After year 3 and 4's success last week, our year 5 and 6 golfers were eager to try their best to continue Bramingham's good form this golf season.

Weeks of hard work in PE built up to this afternoon and it began very well, with the sun shining and both of our teams scoring lots of points in their first few events. A rain delay saw the rest of the afternoon become a bit rushed, however the 20 children from Bramingham kept their focus and fought to the end to score as many point as possible.

Our year 5 team were very competitive, scoring a fantastic 1,385 points which meant a 5th place finish. Our year 6s were eager to win a medal after success in previous years and were ecstatic to learn that they had won the gold medal with a HUGE 1,618 points!

Well done to everyone involved! The full results of where the school finished can be found below along with a photo of the teams and the year 6s with their medals.

Year 3 and 4 Tri-Golf Tournament - April 2018

A very warm Wednesday 18th April was the date of this years golf tournament for years 3 and 4. Bramingham were lucky enough to be allowed to take two teams, with ten children from year 3 doing incredibly well to finish in 5th place whilst playing against children a year older than them. Well done year 3!

Our year 4 team looked very good, with young leaders who were running the event commenting on how talented our team were. They were ecstatic to eventually find out that they were the winners of the tournament finishing with a very high 727 points overall!
