First year five looked at the features they would need to consider when looking at perspective. Then they labelled these features on a picture.
Then year five drew guidelines to help them focus on the use of perspective before drawing an avenue of trees.
Finally, year five drew and painted their own scene showing an avenue of trees and footprints disappearing into the distance with a focus on perspective.
They thought carefully about the change in size of an image over distance and the clarity and reduced details over distance.
