Swifts 2nd November

Swifts have been working hard this week to learn some poems. Please look below to view videos showing us telling poems.
Please make sure your child brings in their coat with them every day because the weather is so variable at present. Your child will need their PE kit every Monday and their water bottle every day. If they wish to bring in a snack, please could you put it in a separate bag so they can put it in their tray in the morning ready for snack time after break.
Miss Garton
Please look below to view our videos showing us telling 'Ning, Nang, Nong' by Spike Milligan and a oem about a snowman.
Our Value for this fortnight is equality.
Our Swifts of the Week are Noelle and Amelia. They have completed some great maths and worked hard to improve their writing and handwriting. They have had a lovely smiley hard working week.
Our fab writer of the week is Safaa. She has taken care with her handwriting and worked hard in all writing activities
Our mathematician of the week is Avie for working independently and carefully.
We had fun in history this week playing games that belonged to Miss Garton' mum and sister as well as games that she played as a little girl.
We learned about how they were the same and some of the differences between games that we have and games that were played a long time ago.
We have started to learn about Advent. Then we made advent wreaths and learned that the four candles helped us to count down to Christmas Day and remembering the birth of Christ.
Remember to do Doodle Maths at least three times a week.
