Relationships and Health Education (RHE)

At Bramingham Primary School, we teach Relationships and Health Education (RHE) as part of our broad and balanced curriculum.  Our policy and scheme of work have been written in accordance with statutory government guidance, and our children, in mind.  On this page, you can find our policy, which outlines key learning at each stage and our approach to delivering the content.  Parents will have been sent links to videos to clarify exactly what we will teach in teach group.  The videos also show the resources that we will be using in class.  You will also find a Guide for Parents that has been published by the government.  This explains all of the changes that have come into effect this year and your rights as parents.

We invite you to view the videos and other materials so that you gain a clear understanding of what your child will be learning.  Please be aware that the children will be covering both this and last year's curriculum content, due to last year's lockdown, which is why there appears to be overlap.  You can also review our policy, which explains the thinking underpinning our planning process.  It is our hope that we will be able to work together with yourselves to support your child with his or her learning.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher.
