Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO):
Mrs S Bains-
Our aim is 'to meet individual needs to the best of our ability'. At Bramingham, we have resourced provision for children with physical and medical needs.
If you have any concerns about your child's development, please, in the first instance, speak to the class teacher.
For further information on how we meet individual needs, please see our SEND Information Report attached below.

WheelPower Sports Camp

WheelPower is the national charity for wheelchair sport. They run Primary & Junior Sports Camps where young people with a disability can discover sport in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.

We have attended these camps with a group of our children. The first was in June 2019 at Brunel University, where the children had the opportunity to take part in cricket, golf, boccia, tennis and basketball. Some of the children brought their siblings along to take part too.

In November 2019, a group  attended a camp  at Cambridge University and the children took part in table tennis, boccia, laser shooting, boxing, archery and zone hockey.

In November 2022, we took a group to the camp at Brunel University. The children were able to experience sports such as tennis, badminton, table tennis and basketball.

As well as staff from WheelPower, there were coaches and athletes from the various sports at each event to help the children. They shared tips and techniques to help the children improve their skills and performance.

The children and staff have really enjoyed these events and we are looking forward to more events in the future.
